50 Years of Elegants! Dinner & Dance | Thursday December 14, 2023
What an event this will be! A night to celebrate the 50 years of Little Peter and the Elegants performing music from the 50s and 60s. The band's first show was in December 1973 at Port Credit Secondary School where the original members were students. We have reserved the upper hall at the Port Credit Legion Br. 82, 35 Front St. N., Mississauga. Doors will open at 5:30pm. An elevator is available and there will be reserved seating. The bar accepts cash, debit and credit cards. La Felicita Catering, of Mississauga, has been hired to prepare a meal of Fresh Atlantic Salmon, Breaded Tuscan Chicken and Penne alla Vodka from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Live music and dancing from 8:00pm to 12:00am. Tickets were $50.00/person. We are inviting past band members to join in for a song or two over the evening. The event is now sold out. A Fundraiser for Firefighters! | Saturday October 28, 2023
The band has been asked to perform in Coe Hill to raise money for the Limerick Township Firefighters Volunteer Association. The dinner/dance will be held in the Limerick Community Centre, 7645 Hwy. 620, Coe Hill, ON. It is roughly one hour northeast of Peterborough, using Hwy. 7, Hwy. 62 and Hwy. 620. It will be from 6:00pm to 10:00pm with doors opening at 5:30pm. Tickets were $40.00/person and the event is now sold out with 100 people attending. For more information phone Joanne at 613-553-0177.

The Cooksville BIA is closing down Dundas Street East from Hurontario St. to Camilla Rd. in Mississauga. It's a lively food festival from 11:00am to 8:00pm! The band returns to this popular Ribfest in Etobicoke for the 7th time. It takes place at Centennial Park from Friday June 30 to Monday July 2 and is presented by Ontario Festival Group. We have been asked to play at this fundraiser benefiting Holy Rosary Parish renovations in Guelph. It takes place at Victoria Park East Golf Club, 1096 Victoria Rd. S., in nearby Puslinch. A cash bar and hors d'oeuvres at 5:30pm, dinner at 6:30pm (wine included), a sweet table set up around 10:30pm. Dancing from 8:30pm to 12:30am.
