Eden United Church Fundraiser Dance | Saturday April 26, 2025
Join us for a fun-filled evening at Eden United Church, 3051 Battleford Rd., in Mississauga. Doors open at 6:00pm, a cash bar from 7:00pm to 11:00pm and tickets are $25/person (includes a snack). The band returns to the Guelph Legion Br. 234 where we have sold out in the past. It's a Royal City Ringers Fund Raiser taking place at the Guelph Legion, 57 Watson Pkwy. S., in Guelph. Doors open at 7:00pm, dancing from 8:00pm to 12:00am. Snacks are provided. Tickets are $25.00/person and everyone is welcome. Spring Into Summer Swing Dance | Friday June 13, 2025
The Toronto Swing Dance Society has invited the band to return for a special dance. Open to the public! The band will play from 8:00pm to 11:00pm with a DJ on the breaks, with dance styles ranging from East Coast Swing to West Coast Swing and even a little Ballroom, Hustle and Country 2Step. It will take place at Beverley Halls, 206 Beverley St. (upstairs) in Toronto. Founded in 1989, TSDS is Canada’s longest-running and largest Swing Dance group. It is a not-for-profit community organization, run entirely by dedicated and unpaid volunteers.

We return for a 6th time to this community street festival along Bloor St., east and west of Royal York Rd. in Etobicoke. Our show will be at the corner of Bloor Street and Humbervale Blvd., just east of Royal York Rd. from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. You will enjoy the 3 days of entertainment, community performances, carnival rides and lots of tasty food and beverages. It is organized by the Kingsway BIA. This successful event returns to Le Tréport Wedding and Convention Centre,1075 Queensway East in Mississauga. Now in the larger Trillium Ballroom with a much larger dance floor! The dance floor measures 2,400 square feet versus 900 square feet this past November. It is just east of Cawthra Road, on the north side. It will be the George Lake BIG Band and Little Peter and the Elegants returning to bring you terrific music from many decades. Visit their website at www.georgelakebigband.com. Lots of free parking around Le Tréport and easy access through the front door, including an accessibility ramp. Doors will open at 5:00pm, with reserved seating, 8 or 10 chairs per table, and spring water in your glasses. The hot buffet, starting at 5:30pm, will offer grilled chicken with mushrooms, pasta with Alfredo sauce, rice, vegetables plus salads and a vegetarian option of Eggplant Parmigiana. A variety of pastries will be placed on each table. The alcoholic beverages are $7 and $8 and bottles of wine will also be on sale. The two bars accept cash, debit and credit cards. A cash machine is in the lobby. Live music from 7:00pm to 11:00pm with the two bands alternating sets, using two stage areas, on a huge wooden dance floor. Coffee, tea, juice and pop are free all evening. Tickets are $65.00/person and discounted to $60.00 if you order as a group of 10 or more. The Centre is located on the 2nd floor of Central Parkway Mall, 377 Burnhamthorpe Rd. E., Unit 116 in Mississauga. A buffet dinner will be served just after 7:00pm. Dancing from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.
